Marisa Meno

I am a PhD candidate in the Sociology Department at UC Santa Barbara. I received my B.A. in Social Science with a specialization in Sociology from San Diego State University. My research focuses on feelings of belonging and how race, migration background, and colonialism influence these feelings. My previous research has looked at national pride in Latin America and its connections to race, skin color and perception of discrimination.
